This wonderful mid-century cocktail or coffee table, circa 1960s, from P.E. Guerin of New York City, is crafted from cast, gilded bronze, with faux bois style legs, stretcher and bundled finial, and glass top. Founded in 1857 in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan by the French immigrant, Pierre Emmanuel Guerin, the firm was one of the first, and remains the oldest continually operating foundry in the U.S. for decorative and fine art
