A mahogany dining table by T.H. RobsJohn-Gibbings (1905-1976). This is an early design by British-born architect and furniture designer, who worked for the Widdicomb Furniture Co. in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The table is made from a deep, rich mahogany with clean lines and classical influences. A single emovable 24” leaf. Gibbings stayed very busy designing homes from coast to coast and was considered the most important decorator in America. His hallmark style was combining ancient Greek design with Art Deco, United States of America, mid-20th century, circa 1950
