an english regency grecian couch/daybed in the manner of Thomas Hope, carved and gilded mahogany frame, with horned winged lion's ( griffin ) paw feet, four feet on the front, two on the back, gilt lions masks / medallions each end front side, the back is fabric only, ice blue upholstery wid nailhead trim, button tufted mattress / cushion, England, circa 1810.
