American sterling silver sugar sifter ladle in the Medallion pattern by Gorham Silver, patent 1864. The ladle has a pierced scalloped, shell bowl and is 7.75" long. It was retailed by J. E. Caldwell & Company, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860s
